About Me

What sets me apart?

I’ve been working in sales and marketing since 2012, giving me well over a decade of hands-on experience. Over the years, I’ve seen countless trends, tools, and platforms rise and fall. My core focus has always been the intersection of marketing and data which today translates into a strong emphasis on strategy, performance marketing, and CRM.

My career

My professional career began in a highly analytical environment as a Sales & Marketing Analyst. In this phase I worked at Groupon and Zooplus. At that time, my focus was clearly on numbers, reporting, and process optimization.

I later joined Travador, where I took on the role of Head of Marketing & Business Intelligence. This period was both professionally and personally formative. In addition to leading marketing and BI, I was awarded the EXIST start-up grant during this time. Together with a team, we developed a gaming platform for amateur players. Technically, we built a powerful platform and acquired a substantial user base. However, despite this progress, we were unable to secure an investor or establish the project as a sustainable business. A challenging but incredibly valuable learning experience.

In August 2017, I co-founded BeastBI GmbH with Tiberiu Novac. Over several years, I served as Managing Director, leading numerous online marketing and analytics projects. I continue to support BeastBI today in selected projects, particularly in sales and marketing.

After around four years as Managing Director, I gradually shifted my focus toward independent interim and consulting mandates. During this time, I had the opportunity to work with companies such as Starcom, ZEISS, and other well-known brands.

Today, I primarily work as an Interim Head of Marketing, Senior Marketing or CRM Consultant - combining strategic responsibility with hands-on execution.

My way of working

It’s not what you do, it’s how you do it. 

I work in a very analytically and structured way. Every decision and every actions I propose or implement follows a clear plan.

At the same time, I strongly value a pragmatic, hands-on approach. Topics aren’t overanalyzed or inflated with theory they get executed with speed and power.

I operate by the 80/20 principle: focus on the actions that drive the greatest impact. For me, efficiency matters more than looking busy. Solving a problem cleanly and quickly is far more valuable than spending excessive time without meaningful progress.

Time - both mine and my clients’ - is a limited resource. I treat it with focus, responsibility, and clear priorities.

I’ve traveled to more than 50 countries and relocated to Dubai, UAE, at the end of 2022. I’ve also spent several months working as a digital nomad, gaining first-hand experience with international and remote work models.

Despite being based abroad, I regularly spend time in Germany to maintain close connections with family, friends, and business partners. I’m fluent in English and comfortable operating in international and cross-cultural environments.

Overall, I see myself as someone who adapts quickly to new situations and challenges.

On my blog, I write about topics such as remote work, self-management, and the structural shifts in modern work environments including a critical perspective on the phenomenon of so-called “fake jobs.”
